Exercise - Diagonals

In this exercise I am exploring strong diagonals within the frame;

This keyboard in the church at Tardebigge Worcestershire caught my eye as a strong tonal diagonal.
 Also in Tardebigge church the pews made a stronge diagonal line up. I also found the blue natural light from the windows gleamed on the polished edges in contrast to the warm artificial lighting within the church.
 These neatly lined up hymn books worked well photographed as a diagonal.
 The next diagonally toned photo is the bottom of the sea wall in the harbour at St Ives Cornwall
 I liked the old industrial flavour of this Narrow boat at Tardebigge Wharf in Worcestershire as a strong diagonal element photographed from this angle. The smoke adds to the dirty black iron feel of a gone by industrial age.
 Two other photos I was undecided about using were these steps on Smeatons pier in St Ives, I liked the way the rustiness from the iron handrail has washed onto the stone with it's destinctive red/brown.
 This second narrowboat photo contains many diagonals too, including the roof pitches in the background and the reflections of the boat in the water.
